It is our company policy that your assets be held on a separate trading platform and secured by a third-party guardian; we do not hold any client money and we are not authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to do so . We only work with custodians who are authorised by the Centra Bank of Ireland. This means that your funds are entirely protected by the Central Bank of Ireland Client Assets Requirements.

Protected

We are members of the Investor Compensation Scheme, established under section 30 of the Investor Compensation Act 1998. Compensation may be payable where money or investment instruments owed or belonging to clients and held, administered, or managed by the firm cannot be returned to those clients. Where the entitlement to compensation is established, the compensation payable will be the lesser of: 90% of the amount of the client’s loss, which is recognised for the purposes of the Investor Compensation Act, 1998 or Compensation of up to €20,000

Oversight

Long Strand Ltd, trading as Saol Capital, is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an Investment Intermediary under Section 10 of the Investment Intermediaries Act, 1995 (as amended). We are also registered as an intermediary under the European Communities (Insurance Mediation) Regulations, 2005 (as amended). Saol Capital’s Central Bank of Ireland Reference Number is C447045, and we are included in the Central Bank of Ireland’s Financial Services Register.
